Services for Hire:
Shows for private events such as birthday parties/anniversary parties/weddings and just about any celebration you can think of, has become a popular request.
Albeit an intimate one-man performance or a full band performance, there is something here for all occasions covering most styles of music and genre to suit your needs
From background music (instrumental or vocal or both) all the way to loud and boisterous tribute-style shows fall under this category I’ve been fortunate to see and work with all sides of this part of the business, from being part of an orchestra as a session guitarist to being a solo act with fire works strapped to my guitar! Opera singer vs Guitarist or performing solo in in centre of the Super Bowl are things that are just the tip of the iceberg here.
Since 2000 I have been a music teacher taking over from my father who was a full time teacher at his own established music school. Although dedicating only some of my time to teaching, it’s still something I enjoy! Giving back and seeing people flourish and understand the craft they enjoy so much.
Doing workshops is just an extension of my love for teaching and helping people, but just an a larger scale. I’ve done numerous workshops dealing with guitar techniques, practical approaches to playing and performance, song writing, applying music theory, improvisation and more
From playing Van Coke Cartel’s Rock n Roll, all the way to the other side of the spectrum to playing Laurika Rauch’s laid back folky acoustic style music, session work definitely takes the crown for meeting and working with all types of people and the honour of playing their music.
Session work i’ve done includes
- Studio work for artists’ albums/EP’s
- Studio work for T.V/Radio ads and jingles
- Live performances for events/festivals/T.V shows etc.
